EA Support is a waste of time

All of EA support consist of AI bots and no live support at all no matter how long you have to wait or request any "real" EA assistance. It's a wasted of time even trying to ask for any help from EA, bcause their are all money hungry pigs and dont care for your thoughs, the reason anyone cant upadate or fix their account is because EA want to controle your account and keep all your datas and info, probaly selling off everyone's data info too. I wouldnt count on trying to get anything back from EA because they will just send AI bots to resolve everything, also did anyone got hacked well good news EA dont care!

I dont think they will even personally read this too I bet.

    Hey LuckyGnome1

I'm sorry to hear that your experience with our support team wasn't the best. While we aren't able to directly support account-related requests here on the forums because we lack the tools to do so, feel free to elaborate on what you're looking for help with, and we'd be happy to point you in the right direction.

Generally speaking, if you were able to connect with our support team via live chat, then you would be speaking with a human, and not AI. The advisors do have processes they're expected to follow, so we appreciate your patience and understanding on this. And just to quickly clarify, we're in no way trying to control your account or information; that's not our goal, and I'm sorry if past interactions have given that impression. If you received pushback at all during the process, it was likely due to account security, as we want to make sure it's you - the account owner - who's requesting the changes, and we take that verification process seriously.

If you're hoping to recover your EA account or change any account information, please feel free to use this web form to bypass the NextStep bot, and you'll be redirected to a page that'll have the option to chat with an advisor. After they verify your account ownership, they should be able to work with you to update or check what you're hoping to receive assistance with. Thanks!

  • I am seeing this as well.

My Madden league has been "temporarily unavailable" for the past six days. I have opened a case and chatted with "advisors" who assure me the problem is being worked on, but then immediately close my case with "no fix available." Now I get a message saying I have already initiated a support request in a different browser (I haven't) so I can't even ask for an update.

Basically the underlying message I'm getting is that all the time I've spent building my franchise is lost, and EA does not care. So essentially, if I recreate everything from scratch, the exact same thing could happen at any time and I'll again be at the whim of nonexistent support.

The problem is (at least in my case) even if the "advisors" I was speaking with are human, they're clearly not empowered to address my issue, or even escalate the matter to someone who is. Also feel I was lied to, as I was told the problem in question was known and would be forwarded to the correct team... only to have the Case closed immediately after the chat.
