Game Pass & EA Sports

Hi, I joined game Pass for PC yesterday then went to download FC25. It said I had to join EA Pass which I did.

Two issues. 1) I can't connect EA Pass to Steam so Steam wants me to buy EA Pass again. 2) This morning I had a message from EA saying it noticed I had a Game Pass subscription so I didn't need an EA Pass as it was already included. 

So if I don't need an EA Pass why when I went to buy FC25 from X Box did it ask me to buy EA Pass? Confused.

Secondly, whilst my EA Pass shows a link to Steam, Steam is also asking me to create an EA Pass account when I went to download FC 25 in Steam.

What should I do? Should I delete both Game Pass and EA pass then go back to Steam and purchase them through that? This does seem quite confusing. Any advice greatly appreciated.  Thanks, James

    Hey jmcfeely72​ can you share screenshots of the error messages that you are seeing?

    Did you purchase Game Pass on Steam and also on Xbox?

    Just so you are aware, Game Pass purchased through Steam will not be accessible on any other platform.

    I believe I bought PC Game pass via the Microsoft website. Its certainly showing in my Microsoft account

    If you have it through Game Pass or on Xbox jmcfeely72​ then you would only be able to access EA games through EA Play on the Xbox app on PC and not on Steam or other.
