I linked my account to a different EA account and now I lost all my progression

I wish I had better news for you but no, there isn't a way to bypass the timer.

It needs to time out before you will get the option to unlink it again. 

However, once the timer elapses, if you relink it to the original EA account, you might be able to get your things back, as any entitlements, like in-game rewards, points, and items, will remain on the EA Account that your platform was first linked to:

The keyword there is 'might/may' as EA accounts aren't designed to be unlinked.
