Sorry to hear you're having some trouble getting back into the account due to that old email. Our support team must be able to verify they're speaking with the account owner before any changes can be made, which is the reason for the multiple pieces of information they request.
If they cannot verify enough information matches what was originally registered to the account, they won't be able to make changes as that would be a serious security issue to simply allow someone access to an account if we can't confirm they are the owner.
You're absolutely welcome to reach back out and resume a case to take another shot at the verification process, but there are no alternate paths that bypass that verification I'm afraid.
