previous account hacked and linked to my steam account, how do i unlink?

all of my passwords were leaked a few months back and sadly i could not save my ea account and as a result the password and email has been changed. when i try to make a new account with that same email it redirects me to the new persons email. 

so i try to use a different email but when i log in on the ea app when opening a steam game it tells me that only one ea account can be linked to the steam account. is there any way i can unlink the hacked email? i can no longer get into the account and have never been able to contact a person at ea directly
