steam account [edit: email address removed] linked to hacked account(.ru email loop)

*"Hello, my secure Steam account (silenteye1709) has been linked to an unauthorized, malicious EA account using the domain pr******@cyphomandramail.ru. I am completely locked out of my main profile data. The main EA Help website is entirely broken for me and stuck in an infinite loop with the NextStep chatbot, making it impossible to open a ticket or access standard live chat options. Could a community manager or forum advisor please manually escalate this case to the backend account security team so my Steam profile can be unlinked from the hacker's email? I have my unique Steam ID link and original purchase receipts ready to verify ownership."*

    Hi silenteye1709,

Thank you for reaching out and providing a clear summary of your situation. I'm incredibly sorry to hear that your Steam account has been linked to a malicious EA account, and I completely understand your frustration with being stuck in a loop on our help site.

For your account's security, we are unable to unlink accounts or make changes from the forums. This must be handled by our support team.

Since you are running into trouble with the live chat and chatbot options, please try using our direct webform to submit a ticket instead. This often helps to bypass any technical issues with the main help site's interactive elements.

When you fill out the form, please clearly explain the situation: that your Steam account is linked to an unauthorized EA Account and you need it unlinked. Be sure to mention that you have your Steam ID and purchase receipts ready for verification.

For reference, you can also review our guide on what to do when an account has been hacked:

What to do if your EA Account was hacked

Using the webform is the best next step to get a case created and into the queue for the account security team. I truly hope they can get this resolved for you as quickly as possible.
