I have two devices, my $11,000 gaming desktop PC, which I built from the ground up (not just buying components off of Amazon or NewEgg) with a 43" 4K IPS monitor, and my phone which I use solely for making phone calls. I have tried five different browsers (Firefox, Chrome, Opera, Vivaldi, and Microsoft Edge). I did try putting the phone into desktop mode. The site does not work. I should not be having to jump through 20 million hoops just to simply change a password.
I agree you shouldn't have to jump through hoops. Normally, that's not the case. You've got a very unique situation and I'm running out of suggestions. Do you happen to have a firewall in place that might block access to our help site?

Just the basic Windows Firewall, and I already tried turning it off without no better result than any of the other attempts.

Have you tried being on an outside network that none of your devices have accessed? Or on a completely different device and network?
