Unable to unlink my PlayStation account for 6 months.
If I’m unable to unlink my PlayStation account from my EA account could I delete my EA account to fix this? If I delete my account could I link my PlayStation to my other EA account and then recover my deleted one?
Hey PrisonBreak619 just so you are aware, the six-month time limit is in effect for a number of reasons and not something that our team can bypass. Understand your thought process around this, but it's not something that I would recommend.
While you can request an account deletion, doing so for the reasons you want and the results you hope for are not guaranteed and you may end up unable to restore the account, or if you can, you may lose all purchases.
While restoring an account can get stuff back such as games and progress, this is not guaranteed and you may get nothing back.
In situations like this, the best thing to do is wait for the time period to pass and then link the accounts again. Know it's not what you want to hear but it is the only way that you can guarantee that you don't lose access to your games.
