What's Worse Than Facing Cheaters? EA’s Anti-Cheat Banning Legit Players

EA’s anti-cheat system is completely broken. It bans normal players while real cheaters keep playing.

My BF2042 account was banned right after finishing the tutorial with AI bots — for “gameplay enhancement.” No cheats, no third-party tools, just the tutorial.

Then I pre-ordered BF6 on Steam, played 5 hours, and got banned again. Tried EA Play Pro with another account, banned again in under 3 hours.

EA’s “kernel-level anti-cheat” keeps flagging unrelated software and never explains what caused the ban. Worse, I’m not alone. Dozens of players have shared the same experience on the forums, banned for “Competitive Advantage”  without even touching PvP(my BF2042 and EA play pro didn't start a real people match, not even once)

EA, this is unacceptable. We’re paying customers, not test subjects for a broken anti-cheat. This system is out of control. Fix it, unban innocent players, and start targeting real cheaters.
