Black Screen When Starting Up The Game, Followed By No Audio

The first time I started the game up on Steam, it installed Origin and I ran the game with my co-op partner for an hour and a half without issues.

The second time I started up the game, it started on a black screen. No loading indicator or anything.

I was able to bypass this by renaming the Movies folder in <game location>Nuts/Content and start the game, but there isn't any audio after that.

I've tried reinstalling and verifying my game cache, and everything results in the same way.

Without renaming the Movies folder, the game will not progress past the black screen.

And even if I rename it, the game proceeds without any audio whatsoever.

Please advise.
