Recent update for Wild Hearts broke my launch again through steam + EA app. I have made a post or 2 before related to the Steam launch of this game not working and also have been following threads here since the beginning with people having the same issue. I was able to solve this issue by creating a new Windows account + eventually there was a patch that fully resolved this issue related to the EA app not correctly launching the game if you have a steam copy of the game. I have been able to play since then and put quite some hours in. But out of nowhere (probably because of a recent patch) I have the same issue again. No idea what happened. Some help please? Thanks!

Hello, I could play since the release. Since yesterday, i can't launch the game anymore, I click on the "play" button and nothing happens.I don't understand.

@EA_Illium No error message. It's the issue where if you press play through steam or the EA app a pop up from the EA app shows up, disappears and then nothing happens as if it crashes.I had the exact same issue some weeks ago but this seemed to be resolved. Now it's happening again but none of the fixes work.I also do not have EA play on steam.

@ScrumpehJ same here. Been that ways since 1st patch.I've tried everything, as have some others who commented on my thread.People on reddit seem to think it's some sorta authentication error on EA's side.I don't think there's a fix on the user's end.

Hello, I could play since the release. Since yesterday, i can't launch the game anymore, I click on the "play" button and nothing happens.
I don't understand.

@ScrumpehJ Are you getting an error message? Also to check do you have EA play on Steam?

Hey Everyone,

Thanks for the updates!

To confirm, can you verify that the game and EA App is NOT being run as an administrator? Also, can you try adjusting your UAC controls to be set to "always notify me when..." and check if you can launch Wild Hearts without getting windows prompts?

Multiple reboots

@EA_Illium None are run by administrator and changing the UAC does nothing. It only makes it take longer for the pop ups to appear and then disappear.

Not sure if this works for you, apparently onedrive automatically turns on the backup function on my C drive document folder where my wildhearts save files are. After disabling the onedrive sync and deleting all the related shortcuts (they add a onedrive shortcut to the directory for syncing), I am able to launch wildhearts again.
