I lost over 20 hours of save progress (PS5). Need official help.
I am looking for official help with this issue.
I was playing the game earlier today and my progress was as follows: I had completed the game, done over 20 hours of grinding weapons and armour, setting up my maps with dragon karakuri (maps were blank after completing the game in friend’s world) and getting ready to kill the deeply volatile Komono.
I went out for 6 hours and when I loaded back into the game, I found myself back at one of the end missions to kill the fireplume and windy tiger boy. All my progress is gone! I have no longer completed the game and I will not be playing the game ever again unless my progress can somehow be retrieved. My achievements will reveal my progress.
This issue is nothing to do with sync problems between local files and the cloud as I always default to local save when prompted by any save data syncing queries. I have not had any corrupt data notifications, I simply logged in and it’s gone.
Please help with this in one of 2 ways:
- Recover my save through PSN somehow so I can continue enjoying the game after my 51 hours of playtime.
- Issue me a refund so I can play another game because there’s no way I am willing to retread the same path to have no guarantee of losing everything again. The game will no longer be fit for purpose as advertised.
