Immortals of Aveum Hover
I need help with hovering. I have got to the immortals chapter and gained the hover talent but cannot progress though the section that follows. please help

Hi EA,
Many Thanks for the reply. I am playing Immortals of Aveum and have reached The Immortals chapter. I have gained the Hover talent and am trying with only a minimal/none success to hover the black blocks ahead. I am on XBox Series X and have enjoyed the game so far. My problem is that I realise you need to press a, a then a but getting the hover is inconsistent/not at all. Is it both aa hard presses or in what/how/ I have also tried changing the settings which do not seem to make much difference. I have watched some walkthroughs which show it can be done but dont offer advice on this specific issue. Any advice as to how to proceed much appreciated.

@LongRoad96 No problem at all! The hover is fairly simple once you get the hang of it. This is how it should go:
- Press A to Jump
- Press A while in the air to double jump
- Press A while in the air after a double jump to hover
- Press A while hovering to cancel the hover
Hopefully that's a good explanation. You don't need to hold A to hover, just press it once after a double jump to hover, and again if you want to cancel the hover. Based on how you time the jumps and hover, you should be able to clear quite long distances.
