Immortals of Aveum stuck on "Logging In" screen via Steam

Hi, I just bought this game through Steam, and this is as far as I can get when loading; I end up having to alt+f4 to exit out of it. I checked these locations:

C:\ProgramData\EA Desktop

C:\ProgramData\EA Logs

C:\ProgramData\Electronic Arts

C:\ProgramData\Origin

C:\Users\119\AppData\Local\EAConnect_microsoft

C:\Users\119\AppData\Local\EACrashReporter

C:\Users\119\AppData\Local\EADesktop

C:\Users\119\AppData\Local\EALaunchHelper

C:\Users\119\AppData\Local\Electronic Arts

C:\Users\119\AppData\Local\Origin

C:\Users\119\AppData\Roaming\Electronic Arts

I only saw 2 files that were modified around the time I tried running the game:

 C:\ProgramData\EA Desktop\machine.ini

C:\Users\119\AppData\Roaming\Electronic Arts\5584726793811525203\0\eadp-sdk\persistence\PROD\eadp.director

Other than those 2, it doesn't seem that the EA App recognizes the game at all.
