my friend is trying to download it takes two using xbox game pass but everytime he clicks download on xbox it brings him to ea and it starts donloading the friends pass. on ea it says he has to buy it. his xbox account is linked to his ea account.
This is not a solution to your problem, but I'm posting my solution for EA Play buyer on steam, you have to go to the It Takes Two store page, click ADD TO LIBRARY for the game, then will it allows you to download the correct full version of it. (If you already have it installed, reinstall it again! )
