The auto save is only saving part of the way through the level, despite many saves, we are having to play around 20 minutes of the previous point each time we save.Yesterday we had just finished the boat section in the tree. It did a cut scene, said saving.I quit the game, reloaded it and it took me to the save point.Today when I load the game I am about 20 minutes before where it saved yesterday. This has happened 3 times.What is the issue?

Hi,I lost my save... I was at the space monkey level with my wife and the next time we launched the game , it wasn’t possible to continue the game, but only to start a new campaign. I searched on the chapter selection and it wasn’t also possible to select chapters that we already complete. Help!! please

Wow, it's good to see others are having this issue as well. My daughter wanted this game, we played for many hours yesterday and almost finished Chapter two. Today we log in and do not have any saves from Chapter two and we are now starting back at "The Depths". Very discouraging. This needs to be fixed asap.Two PC Players

@EA_Illium I just beat the second level with the nail gun and tool box and the following day we started the game and there was no continue button as if it didn’t save any progress and we had to start from the very beginning. I’m nervous to turn it off again now that we’re further than before! I’d hate to have to start over again and lose all our current progress!😵

I'm on XBox One S, and my kids just had a heated argument, because returning after dinner they lost 45 minutes of the game, and won't play, because it was so hard for them to advance.This is a major issue that shouldn't be 'mentioned to the team' - but something that needs to be brought up to those in charge of finding and fixing a problem and getting a patch pushed out.I can't think of any larger error in a game, than throwing the players advancement out the windows, seemingly every time! I mean, how has this not gotten more attention?As a parent I'm annoyed to have paid for the game, only to have my kids 1) like the game, 2) tolerate the difficulty in cooperation, and 3) refuse to play it again because the setback was hard for the, as they struggled.As I can see that the game is defective, based on the threads on the subject, and it was sold to me from EA with their knowledge, I will go for a refund based on defective on delivery. I'll recommend all affected here in the thread to refund the game, and watch for a patch from EA, as there's no way to get further attention to this if you simply allow this to remain a support-chat subject.

We only play Local Co-OpWe have noticed that it seems to happen if we do not compelete a section of a chapter. Then we have to start the section again or part way through. (not chapters but the sub-chapters)Although sometimes even when the book appears for a cut scene, if we finish there, when we load back up the next day we'll have to play another 10-15 minutes to get back to the same point.

Seriously, no replies since 2021?!?!?!?! Really ?!?!?!!?! We are having the same issue on the Switch version. It keeps losing our place & we have to go through difficult wasp battles over & over again!! Come on EA, this has gone on WAAAAAAAY to long with no resolution!

We've been playing It Takes Two on our PS5 for close to two years now. Since we don't play it every day or even every week (busy schedule), we just completed the game last week and I've had a lot of experience in saving the game and coming back in to the same place ... or not 😉 It really is defeating to FINALLY beat one of the boss mobs, only to come back and find you have to do it all over again. Thing is, the game is so danged fun, we bit the bullet and did it again. There really isn't any other game found that is so perfect and fun for two peeps to play together on one PS5. If you know of one, I'd really appreciate you posting here, as we would love to have another game like this one to play. Since we haven't found one, we started this one over again and are finding it just as fun the 2nd time.
On a high note, I finally figured our how to save the game, exit it, and come back to the exact same place when returning to play some more. This is how, and it's worked every time! Use the 3 bars on the right side of your control to go to the chapter selection screen. There you can see where you are in the game and there's a resume button too. From there I hit the PlayStation button, click to the home screen and leave it in the Resting mode. When I come back into the game, it's always where we left off, no problems. I've even turned the PS5 off and found we're still in the same place when we reenter the game.

We just purchased an Xbox s recently.. My wife and I had beat the toolbox and were into the tree. We waited a few days and came back and it took us to somewhere in the middle of the toolbox level. I'm wondering if there was ever any patch. Sad to see this has been going on for so long.

Purchased this on xBox S recently. Wish I had read this before. Great game, not worth the effort of starting going back miles to find it still doesn’t save properly. As this seems to have been an issue for years I don’t expect a resolution so asking for refund. I don’t expect to get that either.

@speciuk I see from the posts that you have been after EA for 2 years to fix this bug. I’m going to join in your efforts. I too have this game and am less than pleased with no save points. I am over 70 years old and have nothing but time to bother EA about this. Today I called telephone support. I was assigned a case number, asked to be patient, was given the usual empty assurances that they’ll get on it.

@EA_Illium It’s January 2023 and this bug still exists. PS5 Digital Edition. Why hasn’t it been fixed? It is the top complaint.
