Unable to Connect to EA even with an internet connection

I am unable to launch either of the games that I have recently purchased (A Way Out and It Takes Two). I bought the games one steam, and when I attempt to launch the games , I am prompted with the message in the file. When I press the restart app button, nothing happens. After a few seconds (whether I press the restart app button or not) The window closes itself. This error has occurred when trying to open both games. I have an ethernet connection on my pc, but I do not have WI-FI, could that be the issue? My pc is unable to connect wirelessly and needs an ethernet cord. In the past, I was able to play other EA titles like Jedi: Fallen Order; However, that was on the epic games store.

none of the info in either of these links helps my issue. I am unable to access the EA app or either of my games, even though I have an internet connection (albeit connected by ethernet)

Hi @CamitoT To check do you have any of the following software running on your device?

    • Anti-virus
    • firewall
    • VPN
    • Anti-cheat
    • Proxy settings (If so Untick the options in LAN Settings (make sure nothing is checked under Proxy Server)

If you have the above can you allow EA App through them or try to temporarily turn them off to see if this keeps happening? If so can we try to clear EA App's Cache (Top Left Menu > Help > App Recovery)

The only sort of anti-cheat I had on was for Riot games and when I turned it off the issue still persisted. I also checked to make sure I didn't have any of the others listed. I cleared the cache, and when I tried to reopen the EA app itself instead of the games it says that I need to login online to sign in offline, which was a message that I had gotten before. I also uninstalled and reinstalled the EA app, but that also did not solve the issue.

I tried both of these processes. The first came up with no issues found that might be causing the problem. The second did not help either as when I launched the EA client in the clean boot the same issue arose with it failing to say that I am online or connected to the internet.
