Can't download games through EA Desktop

I have Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and i connected it to my EA account, in Xbox app i can press Install button, but it opens EA Desktop and offer me to buy EA Play subscribtion.

    I found a work around, you have to first install a free game like apex Legions and then it should let you install other games.

    This worked for me.

    Started Apex Legends download in EA Play app.

    Cancelled it, then started download for Jedi Fallen Order, which I had been unable to download before.

    i actually love you, all the answers I was getting were to just reinstall the app
