Hi everyone,
Thanks for the reports -- this error is usually caused by the game being recognised as an EA Play trial instead of the full version, even if you’ve already purchased it.
There are a couple of things worth trying first on your end:
- Launch the full game (not the trial version)
Make sure you’re starting the game from your owned library, not from the EA Play / Game Pass section. - Check which account is active
This trial message appears when the game is launched on a different account than the one that downloaded or owns the content. - Reinstall using the owned version
If the trial was installed first, uninstalling and reinstalling directly from the Store (owned edition) can help ensure the correct license is used.
If you’re still seeing this after trying the steps above -- especially if you’ve purchased the full game or Deluxe edition -- this will need to be looked into by support, as they’re the only ones who can review and fix account entitlements.
You can contact EA Help here: https://help.ea.com.
Must be delusional if you think I’m going to buy the game when it is on game pass. How about you just fix the game so people can play it. Unbelievable yall manage to destroy every game yall touch. It can’t be that hard to just not make that prompt come up when you aren’t on a “trial” to begin with. I got an idea EA_leeuw why don’t you download the game from game pass and try to play it through EA play. Ohhh wait you can’t because it doesn’t work. But wait maybe you are on the “trial” so make sure you are off that. Ohhh wait re-install the game try that one. JUST FIX THE GAME IT ISNT HARD
