Yes. Nothing pops up after every game either. Before, it would occasionally pop up a window trying to get me to buy the full version. I believe it was after every game, not 100% sure. When I click the 'Buy full version' I get the following screen:
Which makes no sense because I don't own an XBox.
Update: I was distracted, waited too long, got kicked out of GamePass Cloud, but am able to login for the second time in a row. It still pops up the "Continue with EA Play" warning, but at least I can continue.
The only thing I remember doing yesterday was that I messed around with the 'EA Play' app on my PC. It flagged some kind of warning that something was not installed, so I clicked to install it. However, after that I still could not log in, so I thought nothing of it. - EA_Leeuw1 month ago

Hey ZaPPPa , if you click "Continue with EA Play," does it let you play as expected?

EA_Leeuw Something changed this morning... I am now getting the same warning I was getting a couple of weeks ago, but this will allow me to play. The behavior was that, when you launched the game you would get either this message of the "EA Trial" login message. This message you can continue, the other you cannot. The "EA Trial" message became more and more common in the last couple of weeks.
My save game is intact.
Looks like one or more of the servers have been reset. Problem is... today is a work day and if I click away from the game for over five minutes, it will time me out and disconnect..

- Did the game work previously before this started?
- No, it has always had this issue (downloaded off gamepass a week ago)
- When does the error appear:
- At launch, and after each game play section (after every single training and full game)
- Error states: "This trial can only be played on the account that downloaded it..."
- Are other EA titles working normally on the same account?
- Yes, I am running FC 26 fine on the same Xbox/EA account (although I have fully purchased FC 26)
- If on console, are you using the account that owns the subscription/purchase, and is that console set as the Home Xbox for that account?
- Yes, and yes
- I have never downloaded or played the trial version of the game
- One last check, I did remove and re-add my Xbox account to my console and that did not resolve the issue

- Launched it from every available option. From Game Card that says launch with EA Play, from the Owned section, from the EA Play section, and XCloud.
- Did the game work previously before this started? Yes, I’ve been in the middle of a 6 player Online Dynasty and I appear to be the only person affected.
- When does the error appear: Immediately after “press any button” splash screen. It doesn’t allow me to disregard, continue, or move the menu. It’s a soft lock to using any feature in the game.
- Are other EA titles working normally on the same account? Yes, I can play Madden 26, Battlefield 6, PvZ Battle For Neighborville, NHL26, and FC26 fine.
- If on console, are you using the account that owns the subscription/purchase, and is that console set as the Home Xbox for that account? Yes. This is the main account, with GPU, and the console is set as my Home Xbox.

Access type error,
“EA PLAY TRIAL”
”this trial can only be played on the account that downloaded it. Please sign back into that account and restart the game to continue your progress”
I’ve never used the trial, I purchased this straight from the store and was playing it yesterday? I’m all of a sudden unable to play? Just to footstomp I purchased the game on my account and haven’t license transferred with anyone.

Getting the same error with College Football 26, tried the troubleshooting steps, no change.

- I attached a screenshot of the message I’m getting in this case.
- I got the game just this past weekend, didn’t have any issue the first hour or two of playing and then whenever I tried to start up the game ever since then I kept getting the message about how I need to sign into the account that purchased EA play. (It’s the right account I’ve triple checked). I’ve tried different things to fix it or help and the only possible thing that has worked has been restarting my Xbox, however that’s only worked twice out of many times of trying.

- All other games accessed through EA play on this account that I'm using work perfectly fine.
