Is this error showing up when trying to launch the EA app? If possible, please share a screenshot of the error message. 

Hey there. Im playing F1 25 on Xbox series x so dont have the app. I have core game pass. Do i need EA play on top of this to play online?

The F1 25 is not yet fully included in any subscription for Xbox. You can get a trial if you sign up for EA Play, which will give you access to all game features for a limited time.
