Elaborate.  Which game and when was it different?

There's four scenarios where you could play Battlefield without directly purchasing it.

1) The beta

2) Free to play weekend (yet to be offered for BF2042)

3) EA Play (BF2042 not yet added to EA Play). (EA Play is included with XGPU or you can subscribe to it separately).

4) Acquired via Xbox Games with Gold program (BF2042 has yet to be offered via this program).

Or are you saying that you don't see an option to directly purchase the game?

I already had bought the game. I have been playing it since launch on my gold subscription. when that expired, I got an ultimate game pass for one month, renewed my gold today and now it is saying that I doht have online permission to play. However i can access the rest of my games.

Using the Xbox app on your phone does BF2042 show up in your library of 'Owned' games?

Is it possible you bought the Xbox One version and attempted to launch the XSX Version?  Did you ever play a 128p match previously? Try downloading the XBone version to see if you have access to that.

yes i owned both versions. i have one on my xbox one and one on the series x. I have been playing mostly on series x. 

The XSX can play both versions of the game.

Just because you have played BF2042 on the XSX does not mean you own the XSX version.

Here is what I believe probably happened.

-You originally bought the XBone version and played it on your XBone.

-You got an XSX

-You installed the XBOne version on your XSX.

-You uninstalled BF2042 from your XSX

-You got XGPU (which grants you 10hr of free access to the XSX version)

-XGPU allowed you to install the XSX version of BF2042 (which you didn't own).

-Your 10hr trial for the XSX version has expired.  You now have BF2042 XSX installed, but unable to play it.

Solution: Search the store for the Xbox One version and try installing that.

Ok so i unistalled and reinstalled the correct version on my series s. it still prompts me to buy the ultimate pass, then i get an error stating that I dont have access to multiplayer feature. I need someone from EA to help me

Hey @MoeGunnzz219 are you sharing Game Pass or Gold across more than one account on the system?

If you check your privacy settings on the Xbox are they set to adult, if they are can you toggle them back and forth.
