Purchase of EA Play through steam error

When attempting to purchase a monthly subscription for ea play trough steam, I wait 24 hours and receive a message that there has been an error. 6 years ago I changed my Steam to Russia, in order ...

    Hey @NotTryingAnymore if you do not live in a country and set your location to there to get cheaper prices then this is actually a breach of the Steam terms of service.


    If you are having issues with making purchases through Steam then you will need to speak with their support.

    Hey @NotTryingAnymore it is also a breach of the Steam TOS that you would have agreed to when creating your account: https://store.steampowered.com/subscriber_agreement

    You agree that you will not use IP proxying or other methods to disguise the place of your residence, whether to circumvent geographical restrictions on game content, to order or purchase at pricing not applicable to your geography, or for any other purpose. If you do this, Valve may terminate your access to your Account.

    I just want you to be aware of this as it can result in your account being banned by Steam.
