Hey, all.
Do you get an option to check for a CD key from your library per Steam Support?
Third party games
CD Keys are issued with many third party games. In many cases, Steam will display your CD Key when you first launch your game. If your game launches and asks for a CD Key you do not have, please try the following:
- Right-click on the game in the Library tab and select View Game CD Key. This option is not available for all Steam games and a CD Key is not required for all games.
- Verify your GCF files. Follow the directions in the Verify Integrity
We do not get a CD Key through steam, we have EA Play subscriptions through you guys, and have not "Purchased" the game on steam, because of that, we don't have any CD Key as steam doesn't recognize that we own the game, only EA Play

Thank you for following up. Do you know if the game asks you for a CD key when you attempt to launch it through Origin?- 5 years ago
I tried to get on Origin after my steam wouldn’t work. My EA Play wasn’t showing that I had a subscription even though my Steam and Origin accounts are linked. However, it didn’t end up mattering as BF: Bad Company 2 isn’t on origin, which was the game I was trying to play.

I unfortunately cannot verify account details over the forums. If it's saying you don't have an EA Play membership, it sounds like you might have a 2nd account by accident and the membership is located on that one in which our Support team will need to locate for you. That's what I suspect this is. Please keep me updated on the outcome.
When you have a moment, reach out to our Support team via Twitter or our Help site so they can verify they're properly linked so you can get onto that battlefield.EA Help on Twitter
