Game stuck on starting EA Javelin Anticheat (FC 26 + FC 27 Beta)

For multiple months, I have been unable to launch FC 26, and am now having the exact same issue with the FC 27 Beta. The game will not launch and will get stuck on the first screen, sometimes a similar screen but it will instead attempt to reinstall the anticheat and launch the game (which fails), and sometimes on the second screen.

I have attempted to troubleshoot in many different ways, and none have worked.

  • Please try the following steps:

    1. Close the EA app completely.
    2. Open File Explorer and go to:
    3. C:\Program Files\EA\AC
    4. Right-click EAAntiCheat.Installer.exe and select Run as administrator.
    5. Select Battlefield 6, then choose Repair.
    6. When prompted, select the folder where Battlefield 6 is installed.
    7. Once the repair is complete, restart your PC.
    8. Launch the EA app as an administrator, then try launching the game as an administrator as well.

    Thanks for your patience.

  • Hi there,

This error happens when EA Javelin anticheat can't find the installation folder or can’t start the game. There are two ways to fix this.

    • Relaunch the EA app (even if you got the game on Steam or the Epic Games Store) as an admin by right-clicking on it and choosing Run As Administrator. Then, relaunch the game directly from the EA app.
    • Reinstall EA Javelin anticheat.

Both solutions result in the same outcome I was experiencing before, are there any other ways to troubleshoot this?

As I haven’t heard back from you in some time, I’m hoping that means this issue is no longer troubling you. If you have any other questions or would like to share anything, I’d be glad to see you around again.
