I started a single player team career, played ranked multiplayer and then story mode. I noticed the issue when the settings had been automatically changed in my career mode and damage had been turned off. It could be related to the my team licence upgrading from C to B or upon starting Breaking Point What happens when the bug occurs? All Simulation Settings with the exception of 'Pit Lane Tyre Sim' and all Rules and Flags settings are greyed out and cannot be changed in the following locations: New single player career (Both Pro and Non-Pro) | Existing single player career | New two player career | My World Grand Prix | Multiplayer Grand Prix | Splitscreen (With the exception of add/remove AI) | LAN Game | Breaking Point (With the exception of flashbacks) What do you expect to see? The ability to change settingsProvided screenshots of the settings as they appear in split screen multiplayer. An area which I presume should have no reason for these settings to be disabled. Though the settings are disabled everywhere it seems.EDIT: It appears the restarting the game will remedy the issue, but the bug still occurred where it changed the difficulty of career mode and needed to be restarted so I'll leave this report up.

I use EA. I attached a photo. Hard to see but none of the items can be changed. This is in F1 World under Series. I just chose one of them and then before entering the race, I select simulation settings.

Not tried this mode. Have you tried toggling the assist settings from expert when not in the game mode but in the master settings screen?

The master settings (from the home screen) do not have the simulation settings. The simulation settings only appear when I enter one of the game modes. But yes, I use expert mode.

Yes I realise that. I think others have maybe had success in toggling that at the higher level to possibly “unlock” the settings in the mode you are using.

The settings were either changed by an update or did not appear changed but were in fact restricted because although the did not appear changed they were and toggling them did in fact actually set them correctly.

All you did was restart the game? I have the same problem (settings locked/greyed out) and it's very hard to make any progress without a bit of help, which I cannot get because the settings are locked out. I don't understand what to do.
