F1 23 - braking issues - PC - Fanatec V3 pedals

The braking on F1 23 is terrible.  I hit the brakes and the car takes a long time to stop.

Assists are off.  ABS on

I have been racing EA F1 games since they started developing these type of games.  

The braking response in the3is version is not acceptable.

Any ideas out there on this one!
