I've had this issue plenty of times too. Obviously they won't fix it as 24 is out basically but I've found it wrecks the game, if I have the AI difficultly as high as possible and the tech level at 150 the first one or two AI driver's are still RAPID with the wets where as I'm sliding around and having to sweat to beat them, compared to normally where I'm way ahead of them as the difficulty is way to easy. For example if I select intermediate which should be faster than full wets in the dry they aren't, in fact I think they are slower than not changing them as I think when you change them it puts you on actual inter's where as if you leave it as wets I think it puts you on some inbetween tyre like the C0 compound or similar ultra hard tyre as the temps don't match with full wets. I'm not sure it's very bizarre. Go to grand Prix mode and put AI on 110 or whatever your normally driving at, select full wets for yourself and look at your lap times you will be WAY slower than your times in these glitched games. At Canada I tested it and I was doing 1:15s on the inter's where as on those glitched full wets I was doing high 1:11s, on a push lap I was in the low 1:11s which isn't far off my TT Times I think I have a 1:098 so how can I be only 1.2 seconds off my TT Times on full wets but in a non glitched one I'm in the 1:15s.
