Did you try leaving it on auto? I have an ultrawide (AW3423DW, yours is a super-ultrawide lol) and it works just fine. I also have the options of 16:9, 16:10, 21:9, 4:3, and 5:4.
Maybe clean re-install graphic drivers, and making sure your resolution is selected on the desktop? Or try a clean re-install of the game?
Make sure you are using a display port cable also.
I use an Acer Predator X34p ultrawide, have no issues at all with the aspect ratio.
The menus will always look 16:9.Hi,
Thanks for your reply - If I set it to auto, it then cuts off the side panels and looks just like a standard monitor size which is why I had to set to 16:9 which does improve it. I shall re-install the graphic drivers to see if this helps. Thanks again 🙂

Do you have a multimonitor setup?
If so, make sure the game is set to use the correct monitor via the ingame graphical settings menu. The option to select monitor should be on the same page as the resolution options.Yes, I have my PC and Monitor on my desk and then I have a monitor attached to a chair and monitor stand behind me. It's connected via a display port and the monitors are set up correctly on the game too.
The game does not currently support Ultrawide monitors, at least in replays and flashbacks. There is already a thread about this.
For me it is completely incomprehensible why Ultrawide monitors are no longer completely supported by EA-Codemasters. This has always worked exemplary in the past years. The problem exists only now in F1-2023. See also the attached screenshot:
Yeah, I had seen that post but because they were able to have it fit for racing etc., I imagine it's a different issue

I Have the same monitor. I set the resolution at 5120 x 1440 and leave the ratio on auto.
Than every thing looks fine. Just like F1 22
That's strange, If I set it to auto - it just shrinks the screen to like a normal 21" monitor with massive black side panels.
Attached an image of what my settings and monitor look like.
