I have same issue on pc. Don't want to remove the entire graphical atmosphete just to fix pixelation issue. Hoping for a fix soon!
@ivun3 Since the 1.08 patch this workaround does indeed now work. It didn't before, I suspect some of the settings weren't actually doing anything or they were getting immediately over-ridden once you restarted the game.
To disable it open your hardware_settings_config.xml file, find the "lighting" data and set volumetricFog to "false".
I'm still hoping they fix it because it's a shame you lose all the atmospheric effects. And obviously this workaround is no good for PS5 users.

It’s on list as issues being investigated. So hopefully a fix will be here soon
This is NOT just a night issue. The HALO model appears to be bugged, period. Check this screenshot from a benchmark at Canada (day).
It clearly is not smooth along the edges. (This is the PC version.)
