- @RVladimiro If I disconnect the usb and plug it back in, it works, but the force feedback is off. It’s only going to the center, and is not working with the game. For example, when I lose grip, it puts the wheel at the center, instead of opposite locking like it should

Hey there,
Thanks for your posts, I have passed on the reports to the team for the G923 issue.

- @Britbillyt yes, I have the same issue. The reconnecting workaround is to have steering and pedals detected. It doesn't solve the FFB issue. I'm sorry if I mislead you unintentionally.
It’s also not working on my logitech pro direct drive. I have it set to full force feedback and I can’t feel anything.
Thanks, rephii. This has been a big issue going back to the first beta and had a lot of bug tickets generated for it. Given the circumstances, is there any way we can have this prioritized as a high level issue please?
- NormBash843 years agoRising Scout@EA_rephii I too am having this issue.. been trying everything I've read about on here to fix it. Any news on the thread issue? None of these have worked for me..
- @EA_rephii Im having the same with my logiteh g920 not working at all i hope it gets fixed
It worked for me ... I think the trick is to do it while you are in the cockpit in a race, qualifying or TT - pause the game, disconnect the wheel from USB - you will get a message, no controller, then plug back in (I even tried a different USB port) - then when you un-pause, it should work - the forcefeedback seems a bit lower in this game, so you may want to turn it up a bit from what you had in F122 - my setup (Xbox One S, Logitech G923 Wheel).
I’ve noticed the FFB seems to work when the lights on the wheel do not. I was racing in F1 world, lights not working and FFB felt great. I decided to do the disconnect trick to get the lights to work, FFB fell off to nearly no feeling at all…but the lights worked
I can finally get the g923 to work on the Xbox by connecting the wheel after the game is running however no FFB it’s terrible to try drive. Is this being looked at by EA? Please say yes. Thank you
@Blackbird201050 "Supposedly". but that doesnt return the hours i couldve had on the game already that i paid for
I blow in it too…for nostalgia purposes…
Este error aparece a cada rato y el force feedback se va! A veces regresa a veces no, gracias por tu ayuda!
@EA_rephii I'm at a loss to explain it, but my G923 is relatively issue-free from the patch last week. That doesn't seem to be the case for most others so I didn't know if I could assist in any way. I've had the connection, FFB, and grinding noise issues - but they all seemed to resolve themselves the first day. I've used the game several times with my wheel working to near perfection since the patch. Let me know if I can provide any info that might be helpful.
- @Shoegazer75 Which platform?
Which platform?
Xbox Series S
Does anyone know about this Issue on xbox one s? I am still on last gen and purchased f1 23 yesterday. I have a g923 but didn't try it out yet.
- @245f19b07a437a25 yeah, I reported it for Xbox Series S and found that it was related to auto-save crashing and losing connection to online services in the days between the Champions Edition release and the official release. All these issues are documented since at least the release date if not before.
There are two different issues it seems. One is the force feedback that is affecting multiple wheels of multiple manufacturers on multiple platforms. Another seems to be related to Logitech's Trueforce on G923 and Pro wheels that affects different platforms differently. - @RVladimiro Thanks for the summary. So I guess it is not worth trying it out...not before a patch will be available.
- @245f19b07a437a25 yeah, keep watching patch notes and feedback from the playerbase. I've gone back to F1 22, since I did all I could with a controller on F1 23.

theres been an update - NormBash843 years agoRising Scout
@matty0blobberI'm not seeing an update. The link is sending me to a post from 2 weeks ago that talks about the patch that already happend.. What am I doing wrong?
- @NormBash84 what matty meant is that there was an update to that specific post. It's updated about twice a week and it's a good way to see what's the progress towards the next patch.
- matty0blobber3 years agoNew Ace@NormBash84 i meant they've updated the list on whats getting patch soon.
