Stuck at downloading on the menu on PS4

Question

I put the disk in the PS4, the game installs, the update downloads and installs, then when I open the game it still says it's downloading and gets stuck at 70%.

So I deleted the game, installed it, stopped the update, open the game and the in-game download gets stuck at 33%. So I download and install the update, open the game and the in-game download gets stuck at 61%.

What the **bleep** is going on? Why can't I play this game? I've left the PS4 in rest mode, left it on in game, but that download percentage doesn't budge. What do I do to fix this?

So I guess this game is just literally unplayable? I've tried everything I can think of to fix it but nothing works, and EA's "help" chat just told me to take the game back to where I bought it. **bleep** useless.

I'm having the exact same issue. Everytime it advances a bit, I always get stuck at 96%, even letting it download overnight. Did you fix it, by chance?

Nah, I ended up taking it back to the shop I got it from and getting a refund. The disk was used and kind of scratched up so I'm wondering if that was what was the causing this issue.
