@Cpayne32 Sorry but I do not think they tell you the full truth but only what they want to get communicated.
There sure will be a team for F124, but they will focus on the content (challenges and stuff).
If there are so many bugs (there are!), there is a LOT of opportunity to fix at least SOMETHING and to quickly fill the release notes, Hell, they did not even fix no-brain bugs since F123 (and before!)! Look at the long lists of fixes in release notes of DCS World, AMS2 and many others. Many of them are minor problems that are quickly fixed without inflicting complications. But in the F1 series not even those get fixed. I could understand if they say: "there is this super game breaking bug (controller handling?) which needs to be addressed with high priority". But even then there should be at least a single person there who takes care of the rest. So maybe there is a "team" but then this "team" seems to have fewer that 2 devs.
So either there is no bug fixing team at all (which I guess) or they are just not up to the task.

@Cpayne32 So you are not able to directly talk to any devs. Or are you? Do you notice something?
OK, then where is the feedback that they are "constantly trying to get"? Where are the fixes?
There is no longer any excuse for not correcting errors that have partially been known for years. They charge money for a AAA title, deliver B (at most, because let's not forget it's been more or less the same game since many releases) and post-release support is C.
They let us starve on their outstretched arm, implement some placebo champions to calm our minds. Nobody from CM, let alone EA, stands up to the headwind and makes an authoritative statement. The champions (whose voluntary work I really appreciate) take all the trouble, but can only influence things to a limited extent, if at all. And they don't even get paid for it! A great strategy from a company's point of view.
This has to stop!

I don’t have contact with the devs no. Im really hoping that the drop in sales alongside the concurrent player drop is a wake up call though.

I would like to add: the work of the Champions in this forum is not “placebo”! They really have a lot of knowledge and insight in many areas that they pass on to the community. They enliven this forum. If it was only based on the shoulders of EA/CM the forum would be dead! They just provide the technical framework for it, that's it.
Thank you!

Agreed - the Champions are in the same boat as us and have loads of knowledge; it's just too bad the Champions seem to be constantly set up to fail. Being on the front lines of a game forum isn't easy, especially when the managing company hangs you out to dry.
I have confidence there are devs who are looking at bugs. But I'm also confident that whomever is handling the work priorities (a Product Manager or otherwise) is pushing them as a lower priority to things like seasons and getting more things into the store to monetize. What I DON'T think there are, are testers. Based on the quality of the product, my guess is that the testing being done is either automated or just smoke testing at the most. It's incredibly clear that no regression testing happened, no extensive play testing was done. That got passed on to us as the players. If there IS a testing group/agency that's being used, someone might want to rethink that relationship.
This forum is 90% Champions and players trying to help each other out and find workarounds for things. I don't expect that to change at this point.
They won't even give us a Ferrari "We are checking" response.
EDIT: I saw that a set of patch notes was posted for 1.8, which is great. But, once again, several big issues that are impacting the majority of users are not present on the list (unless they are part of the generic "various stability fixes").

I hope they see the sales drop as a wake-up call, and not as a reason to drop the series entirely (some may see that path as a good thing though...)
As someone who owns every CM F1 game until this one, it kinda hurts to see where it's at. I've always been a fan of CM's simcade style, as it feels fun to play, and you can invest as much as you want to. I had fun with every CM F1 game prior to this one, the demo of this one turned me off so badly I really might just skip it.
I keep coming back to the forum to see if anything changed, because I want my F1 gaming fix. Guess I should just move on, and hope some competition comes out at some point.
