Absolutely love WRC. It’s frustrating when you fly off the side off a mountain. But the cars are so fun to drive. When you get it right. You, well I shout out “I AM THE GOD OF GODS”
@ScarDuck14 I enjoyed the gameplay of WRC (except Greece, the cliffs of death that exist pretty much everywhere can go you know what themselves) as it does feel really good when you get it right. But the career mode kind of killed it for me, the way it was structured was kind of weird and the UI layout was hard on the eyes. Also the upgrade system seemed weird as I was able to buy all the best parts so then it was just a matter of upgrading my staff so they could repair the car during events.
Maybe I should have given it more of a chance but it turned me off pretty quickly, so hopefully they don't use that as the model for F1's new career mode IMO.

Choosing which events you can or can’t enter. So I planned out the entire season from day one so I didn’t enter events that conflicted with others. As I’d guess that’s how you would do it in real life

Tbh, I would forgive some visual "numbness" if engine ensures game doesn't twitch and crashes. In both F1 and WRC I scarcely notice the surroundings, I focus on track. I usually don't have time for anything else (especially in WRC as I am rubbish at rally 😉)
The only difference it makes when I watch replay, I guess 😉
But I can't complain, WRC on PC looks very good, even on very high res.
I only play career modes in both games, one off things don't interest me much 😉
WRC has a very good approach to career calendar. Choosing wisely is very important, due to benefactor's interests and what I want to gain (components, personnel, engineer improvements, etc.) The interface might be challenging at the beginning but it can get used to.

the problem is that there are things that are important but require time that I don't think you can do in a year....such as real tires dynamic weather (the current one beyond presets also buggy) plus put in the physics that reverses the conditions every year for the copy and paste are all there....I also believe that seeing the continuous advertising of the advance purchase, it probably won't be going as expected, I say, obviously without any info with bad premises that you expected? People don't waste their money like this times
