While I was able to easily adapt to the new handling model without changing the default settings, I also think it was way better in version 1.6! We need it to be reverted, if it is possible. In 1.6 the game reached a state where all of the most glaring issues were patched and the game was fully playable and enjoyable. I don't know why the devs had to tweak the handling once again, instead of focusing on fixing the smaller but very annoying bugs...
I don’t use pad but reading about low traction and understeering I wonder if you are playing with highest tyre pressure, as with 1.7 it’s finally a ‘working’ feature and you need to lower it
