Why only 3 helmets?

There is absolutely nothing in this game customisation-wise which is absolutely sad. What makes things worse is that your Pitcoins become absolutely meaningless aswell.

I hope Codies+EA add atleast 15-20 Liveries, suits, gloves, helmets etc. for Season 2 of Podium Pass.

Reports to community managers have been made again and again but still nothing! What is the problem ? We're not talking about integrating a new graphics engine or a huge update on physics or handling, but about content! At least !

Some time since the game was released, we are at the same point despite feedback on this subject from community managers.

What is the personalization program?

Releasing 2 or 3 cosmetics in December or even January 2025 ?

Are you going to leave the community who paid 80 euros or 90 euros for the game in this situation ?

I invite you to go see the latest post from the official F1 24 account on Twitter and look at the comments, it sums up the situation well. Open your eyes !

We are not asking to change the graphics engine now or a huge update but just cosmetics with improvements that's not the test of the century either...

Spot on!!! It’s not asking much is it? Add some helmet and car liveries. How hard can it be!? Surely it’s an absolute basic thing to add.
2 months after release and there’s NOTHING to spend that 18,000 pit coin on that we got for Pre-Ordering an £89.99 game. It’s so disrespectful to the players who bought the game on Day 1 to think that is acceptable!
When people say “only 3 helmets” they’re talking about the ones in the “Store”, too. How many helmets came as standard in the Champions Edition base game? ONE! 😂
How many more posts can people make about the lack of items for customisation?
We are sick and tired of hearing that the feedback has been passed on!!! It’s not good enough!

you know there’s even a section in the “store” to buy MORE pit coins…. I’d like to see just how many people have bought more… because even the people who got 5,000 for the standard edition at £69.99 can’t have spent that! 

@SDGMattI'm in full agreement with everything there guys. What we are asking for is the absolute basic stuff that should have been implemented into the game upon release. Sales are down and is it any real surprise when year on year they completely ignore the recommendations from the community. 

It is absolutely ridiculous that we have so much pit coin and nothing to spend it on other than the absolute garbage that they perceive to be good. No one cares about headphones and endless pairs of shoes! Get the helmets back in the store.

I'm completely disappointed and feel totally let down with this year's game. I haven't played it in weeks because it's not worth the money I paid for it in it's current state. It's absolutely imperitive they resolve this as soon as possible.

Customisation items such as helmets, liveries, race suits and more are available in several areas of the game including the Free and VIP tiers of Podium Pass, the Shop, and through Pro Challenge and Challenge Career events as rewards for completing objectives.

Following the release of Season 2, players have been gifted a 'Maple Forest' customisable helmet via the in-game Mail system. Additionally, Podium Pass and shop items have been refreshed.

How can you promote such poor content on the game like that?

The possibilities for customization and content are completely at a standstill.

Releasing 3 or 4 cosmics through events or challenges, do you call that content ?

The system totally needs freshness, I have said it several times and we have been asking for it for years.

Where is the helmet and suit livery editor? Visor color, in-depth cosmetics, community sharing system for livery creators ?

With all due respect, jumpsuits and helmets with pumpkins, trees, and 80s flames have nothing to do with an official game and in no way make the franchise credible.

I don't understand at all the fact that your team does not look into this subject once and for all and involve your guys in this in order to really bring content and freedom to customization.

There is immense potential to be exploited on this problem which has been going on for years, already in F1 2010 it was requested despite the fact that the helmets are more realistic than today which is unfortunate.

Your motto is Work in Progress, right? There we are at work at a standstill for my part.

Give us real things and lots of content, it's the least you can do for a community that has been following you for years despite the fact that the price of games is increasing but the content is decreasing.

They are clearly not listening here. Well actually maybe they are but just choose to simply ignore what we have all been asking for.

If they think that adding in a couple of helmets to be unlocked, or even worse pricing them at 7500 pit coins is giving us what we have been asking for they are sadly mistaken.

All this does is make us customers even more fed up with this abomination of a game!

@CM_TGK I’m sorry but that response shows how utterly out of touch with players you guys are. 

In stark contrast, F1 Manager 24 launched this week. I’m delighted to say that the customisation options on that are infinitely superior, including fully-customisable sponsor logo placement on both liveries and suits. What’s more, the game was less than half the price of F1 24. 

Shows what is possible when a developer/studio actually gives a damn about its player base.

As others have said above, that response is, at best, laughable; at worst, insulting.

Everything here is more respectful than putting 2 free helmets into the game when 1 is purple and you cannot change it. There should be like 50 helmets +. Also new helmet for almost 10 000 pitcoins is crazy.

The demand and complaints about personalization and content are very strong.

Twitter, Instagram, Facebook the distress of the community at this level is present more than ever.

Given all the feedback I think that this is no longer even an option but indeed an urgent necessity to provide answers and concrete changes on this.

@DavidLld33 fully agree with this. It needs to be an absolute priority issue at this point. 

@EA_Groguet I’m not sure where you’re seeing anything against the rules or guidelines? Everything that people have said in here is true. The utter contempt with which EA/Codies seem to be treating its players on this matter is diabolical.

EA have proven that they can make excellent games with good customisation features when they want to. WRC and the new College Football 25 are excellent examples. For some reason with F1 a totally different approach is taken, whereby they strip out the content players want and replace it with pointless stuff nobody wants. It boggles the mind how they think this is the right approach. 

Do they not realise that what they are doing now in terms of having most of the customisation features removed will massively damage sales for F125?

It beggars belief just how out of touch they are with the customer base. Is it just laziness and they can't be bothered? 

All F124 resembles is by far the worst copy and paste with content removed. How on earth was that ever going to go down well and be anything else other than a complete flop.

The complaints are not just on here regarding the lack of content and customisation, it's all over social media. Until they wake up from giving us absolute piffle pointless items and provide us what we are "ALL" asking for, sales will continue to plummet.

You have let down so many loyal customers.

I won't buy any future F1 Game developed from EA, this customer support is terrible.

Customization is just one of many problems.

I wouldn't wonder if most of the Codemasters crew left the game - if you review this quality of game.

Will wait until the next F1 game is only 30 EUR and even then not sure if I would buy it.

Sure two new liveries have been included, at a cost of an extreme number of pit coin points which is just silly.   Once decent one in the podium pass series.    But the 2 they want pitcoin for.. who would actually pay for those anyways.  They're hideous and not something you'd ever see on a real track.

Several pages worth of people wanting more liveries in this topic and here we are still with nothing essentially.   How this game shipped with only 3 liveries for F1 World and My team combined just blows my mind.

And so far the stuff in Podium Pass is spread out and useless. The store has nothing interms of useable liveries, helmets, race suits, or team badges. Who cares how many different fake sponsors there are? And your themed stuff is rediculous.

Create some realistic team badges, like the stag head, a big cat, clover leaf etc. Look at you old liveries that looked like real F1 teams, same for helmets and make them available, even if it costs pit coin.

BTW why do the helmets have matte and gloss finish that can’t be changed like you did with the liveries?

BTW not going to waste time on F1 world seasons when I want to race in My Team and Career. 

I hesitate to say this since I like the handling in Patch 1.7 and enjoy driving, but I over paid for the game by preordering. It was worth half of what I paid.

Agreed again and again. The entire system for race wear is beyond poor.

I'll keep saying it, they have let everyone down this year with this unpopular decision. 

As for F1 world, what a complete and utter waste of time and resources it is. Just imagine what they could have done with the time spent on this load of unrealistic garbage, that hardly anyone cares about.
