Just finished Miami race in driver career mode, difficulty 84. Playing as Lewis Ham, Merc.

Finished Quali 1st, by 0.029 gap to Verstappen. In the race, AI staight line speed is just insane. Like I cant keep up with them even with overtake mode on for the entire staight. The result was P9.

This seems like a track specific issue as I was able to get to podium till Miami.

Also, Is it true that AIs don't know use ERS during Quali?
