On PC and Windows check if Windows has enabled/active Secure Boot.
If not, go to BIOS and Enable and set Active Secure Boot.

Thanks to II_BigBadWolf_II for your hint about activating Secure Boot.
I changed Secure Boot from Custom to Standard on my PC.
It did not work but it is a good idea in general and may have contributed to the solution.
After changing Secure Boot the game still crashed but there seemed to be a potential influence.
According to warning logs I fully deactivated the Xbox game bar in the Windows settings and
manually open the EA app before I start the game.
…and then surprise. The error still occurs but did not cause further crashes so far…
