Hi everyone,the team has looked into this change to the Ferrari engine sound, and it was actually specifically made to bring it closer in line with the real-world audio.Thanks for all your feedback though! Long gone are the days of the glorious V8 engine sounds, unfortunately. -Vendcera

Agreed it's now absolutely terrible and much worse that it was before. I'll admit, when I noticed it, I thought it may have been an improvement, but after about 3 laps it's horrific and actually hurts your ears.I'm not sure why the Ferrari engine is so difficult to replicate in F124? Agreed the Ferrari does have a more unique sound. But it's now unlistenable.The Ferrari engine sounds from F122 was excellent. Surely it would be easier to implement that sound file?It definitely needs either rolling back pre-patch or improving.

Now that they fixed the Ferrari's sound, are you complaining? You guys are very annoying, you complain about everything done in the game, leave the engine sound as it is, it's much better now, the sound from the old patch was unbearable.

I'd much rather have the original Ferrari sound back too and that was also a travesty. What does that say about the new one?I'm absolutely baffled why they can't just use the sound file from F122 for the Ferrari? Best version they created in terms of sound.The latest Ferrari engine sound is beyond awful. How this was ever passed and checked off as acceptable beggars belief!

I think it's important to note that F1 engines this year and under the current regs kinda sound like *. Ferrari engines in particular are tinny and grating.

@still_guns To be honest, I like it more than the sound it had until now. The downshift sound is def an improvement. The engine sound itself tho is not quite there yet. I think to make it realistic, it should be somewhere between the old sound and the new one. The old sound was too high pitched, while this new one is too low.

Agreed, the downshifts are a definite improvement and actually sound very good. In addition there is now also some of that turbo whistle which is characteristic with the Ferrari.
But it's the other general engine sound that's not quite working with the new patch.
I'm happy they have tried to improve it and therefore listened to the initial feedback from release. But it definitely needs improving again.

Guys, is it just me or there is a change in the sound of cars. I am sure there is something wrong as it cannot be that terrible. It was very good in 2023 and 2024 so far, but what I hear now is just so-so bad. Why? Can it be reversed to how it was?
