Game crashes when returning to mid session save

On Xbox I saved mid session- one player career- because I couldn’t access comms so tried to fix by restarting with a mid session save. When trying to re enter the game simply crashes when I try to resume the race with no message or error

Hey everyone,

we've now got a fix lined up for this issue with the upcoming 1.7 patch on Monday. Please let us know then if it got finally resolved!

Fixed an issue where the game could crash when loading a mid-session save when certain specialist goals were selected

@Footycent if you have access to the save files and delete them you might can solve this.

Okay, so here is my save data. I think that the only not finished specialist gole was to do 6 laps with 3 different engine components. I have done that in FP but it did not count it in.

@WorldByAdam now i remember that the same issue with the task not counting in occured in early season of that carrer. It was complete 4 laps or smth. with 2 different engine components, also did it in FP but it did not count in. It only completed itself after the finish of the race weekend, not right after completing it.

@Galdon97 This temp fix did just the trick for me, thank you for sharing! Still think it's crazy after all this time there is no fix yet but I am glad that this at least lets me pick the game back up and play it till the game inevitably crashes.

Hello, Im trying to get my game fixed too after the 1.5 update patch i cant play it anymore it crashes when i go out on track. FIXED: I've deleted the mid save from savegame and it works, also it save now.

I completely understand that this is still a pretty frustrating issue. The team is still investigating it but didn't manage to get it fixed for the last patch.
