Game doesn't accept input, leaving me stuck at the splash screen unable to play.

There are a couple more things you can try to fix this: 

Delete/rename the hardware settings file:

• Navigate to:
  Documents\My Games\F1 24\hardware_settings
• Delete or rename the hardware_settings_config.xml file.
• This resets controller and graphics configs.

If the problem persists, please try to:

• Disable All Non-Essential USB Devices: Unplug all USB devices except your controller and keyboard/mouse. 
• Try Launching with Only Keyboard First: Launch the game with no controller connected. Once past the splash screen, plug in the controller.

So I renamed the file. Still nothing 

Deleted the file. Still nothing 

Controller, keyboard and mouse are the only USB devices plugged in.

Unplugging the controller to start the game with just the keyboard, and then plugging in the controller also doesn't work. 

Can you please share a DxDiag and a screenshot of the screen that you're getting stuck at?

Thanks. There are some LiveKernelEvent errors, which are often related to driver crashes and hardware instability. You can try a clean install of your graphics card driver.  

clean install completed, full factory reset without any profile details or settings.

Same issue.

When you're stuck in the splash screen, are you able to close the game, or does it freeze, and you need to restart your PC?

I would need to use the task manager to close the game. It doesn't freeze my PC and require a restart.
