First to fifth gear the car is great and competitive, but as soon as I shift to 6th my car does not go any faster and all other cars start passing me. I was able to go up to 8th gear before this started happening.
Ive had a similar issue on Ps5.
I would get half way through 6th gear and the car would stop accelerating like there was a speed limiter on. The car would not reach its top speed, it would be about 10mph short.
I found an EA post regarding PC user's saying that f1 24 has bugs, and it's pot luck what issues you get. They suggested deleting the game, and the save data and reinstating it.
I reinstalled my game, and ended up having 4 days problem free but with a low top speed. Yesterday I had the throttle issue return. So I deleted everything again, and installed it this morning. The throttle issue has gone (for the moment) and the top speed is now back to normal. I gained 3 tenths on one straight alone.
It might be worth a try.
