Re: no AI DNFs/crashes/broken AI

Same issue for me in driver career. I posted in the thread that references this too, but has the title of constant DRS train.

Nothing happens in races. No yellow flags, VSC, safety car, red flags, DNFs, mechanical issues, and very few overtakes from the AI. Mostly the are stuck in one or two DRS trains. The incident screen is always blank. Every. Single. Race. Every. Single. Session. 

I hope that it's such an obvious and game-breaking bug, that they are just unwilling to acknowledge it in the thread that outlines what's under investigation and they are actively working on a fix.

The game is unplayable and not at all enjoyable until the races have some life to them again. 

I reported last year Ai becomes invincible after a certain point in races during career and Myteam but worked fine in GP mode.   Fun fact they replicated the problem.  Would seem they still havnt fixed it.   I’d pause the game randomly and then replay and have a look round the track.  Multiple times I saw Ai having collisions with no damage or they would just ghost each other.    On other times I’d ram into Ai and I’d get destroyed and the Ai wouldn’t even blink.    I ended up deleting the game.  Was really hoping it be fixed for this year.  Only played beta so far.  Won’t be for a few days before I play this years.  I’ll do the same tests as last year and see what happens.     

That being said… be sure you have damage turned on to standard or simulation.

Had a Ai work around for this in last years game. Didn’t always work. But try Once lights go out. Pause game. Restart session. Goes back to race start. Sometimes would see more Ai damage

Ai damage doesn’t activate until race starts. Problem is it doesn’t activate after formation lap like it’s supposed to. Restarting session seemed to reset it
