Ai.

So my General topic here is About the Ai and the overall performance, from track to track and mainly in the rain!

From track to track does anyone else find an issue where they are ok and perfectly competitive on some tracks.. yet then on other.. i.e China the long right onto the main straight the traction and overall speed they have is crazy! and the likes of.. Miami same on the straights crazy overpowered.. then yet Monaco they seem i lil slow to what they once was! other tracks i find them crazy quick at ar Japan onto straights and Hungary to name a few! they are just overpowered and i race on 107 Ai difficulty so not slacking by no means.. just they are to inconsistent between tracks?

Also the (Rain) they have incredible traction regardless of the track and they dont make enough mistakes... nor do they seem to wear out their tyres both in rain and slick conditions or.seem to struggle that it should be noticable! And the wordt trsck for this is how they will run 25laps on soft tyres at Spain for instance and hardly lose any speed.. on the softest compound is just nuts!

Surely its not me no?

Going into GP mode and using full traction and brake assists I eliminate driver ability other than steering. Using the default set up I find the proper difficulty to put me within a few tenths of the fastest AI driver in qualifying ranges from 80 at Monaco down to 63 in Qatar. The average for all 24 tracks is 72.

In the wet the difficulty varies with the track and degree of wetness but probably goes down by 15 at most tracks. So wet dry races become impossible to set the difficulty for.

Miami is an especially bad track where the AI down the long back straight in DRS 2 is reasonable as it is in zone 3 (start finish straight) but the first DRS zone which twists a little it is far too fast.

In general if the AI comes out of a 3rd or 4th gear corner and accelerates it will leave you behind but if it comes out of a 1st or 2nd you have a better chance.  In the wet the AI traction advantage is multiplied.

The AI variance track to track, season to season, and in cases like Singapore between qualifying and race has always existed, and people posted about it, but this year it is even more pronounced and therefore noticeable.
