I have played F1 Games more than 15 Years and this game has defently a problem.
Like a other users said, the AI has to much speed and it seems that they have unlimited ERS. If you look at the charging lights you notice that they never charge their ERS but still have enough ERS, whilst we are struggling with it.
In F1 24 you could have a good fight over several laps with the AI and then you saw that they have to charge the ERS like in real life. It was so more enjoyable. Now the only situation where the AI charges their ERS is when the SC/VSC ist deployed.
