How you manage to get a problem every new patch??
Hast to be studied.

First of all, racing in the dry and wet, I have noticed the ai's reduced acceleration on exit, and it is definitely noticeable.
The ai in the wet are still too op though. I've done 3 very short races in very wet conditions with full qualifying and most of the ai still out qualify me. I'm a lot closer to them in qualifying (now a few tenths off the back of the pack instead of seconds), however, they were just too op in the first place that even with a significant nerf, it wasn't enough.
It's a similar story in the races where I'm a couple of tenths slower than the slowest ai. I'm almost certain this isn't a skill issue as I have always been good in the wet in the f1 games (excluding this one and f1 22).
To me it just feels like they don't test the game enough. You'd think that they would test the game with a few users on different difficulty levels. For example, someone who uses 50-60%, another who uses 70-80% and another who uses 100-110%. Then they would get them to do quali and race sessions across a few select tracks in both wet and dry conditions and compare the times. They could then modify the ai to make the pace/gaps similar across wet and dry sessions and races and qualifying.
Judging by the ai inconsistency between tracks and between weather conditions this surely can't be the way they test their games.
It's so incredibly disappointing for us to be 4 and a half months into this game and for it to still have a lot of the same fundamental flaws as when it came out.

IanM282 I agree.
I've noticed since the start that it's not only an AI problem. The amount of traction in the wet that the player has is so bad. You're always fighting the car in every type of corner, every exit and even when trying to overtake on a straight it seems the car has no grip while turning.
There is for sure a problem with the player car as well and that is what makes the AI look so faster than us.

So i just did a 25% wet race around Australia in the Aston Martin to test and while i was making time in the corners, i was losing a lot of time unless using ers.
will need to try changeable conditions to see what the impact is for those

Same here. AI might be a little better in that you can go wheel to wheel on corners and survive now. Before it was like they would get trapped between your wheels and not let you go.

I beg with future games if it is possible please do beta testing to stop most of these game breaking issues. Either that or make the game cheaper so at least we get what we are paying for.

AI 80. My Team. Austria. Full brake and traction assist. 50% distance
Qualified on pole in the dry by 0.1 sec over my teammate. 0.2 over Norris and Russel.
Wet start, drizzle but everyone on inters. In these conditions my car seems planted unlike GP mode Red Bull in full wet where the car is squirrelly.
Held lead for 4 laps before my teammate passed me. She extends an 8.6 second lead over 8 laps till the rain stops and DRS is activated. I have held 3 cars behind me who were all within 2 seconds of me.
All drivers pit for dry tyres with a second pit stop planned. Over the remaining 24 laps me, my teammate and Norris trade fast laps and basically keep station till the finish.
Long winded way of saying the patch may have improved dry racing, I am not 100% convinced it did. As to wet racing it did nothing for My Team. I see absolutely no improvement in the wet and based of GP mode a full wets race would be a disaster. I guess the only solution is to sim those.
ALSO the weather forecast was for the first 2/3 of the race to be wet, only 1/3 was.
Can you add the option to sim only qualifying? Can you decrease the odds of wet races?
More importantly do you understand the problem or are you clueless as to the cause?

AEF251 I’m going to go with they are clueless to the cause because they keep trying things to fix it and keep failing miserably.

After playing the game in dry and wet conditions on tracks where Ai are problematic vs the player as stated in the patch notes video that there is no big difference in dry conditions or minute its still looks like a issue wheres the wets i feel little more competitive but the traction i feel for the player is maybe what results in the ai looking more powerful. I feel like its one of those where your always changing ai based of the track, track conditions for the sessions to get somewhat of a balance

So where does this leave us and where do we go from here? After this update we are all yet again in limbo.
The only way to fix this problem is to increase the rear end traction on the players car.
Another adjustment and patch means waiting for another 4 months? It's so incredibly disappointing.
To release the game in such a poor state and then have to wait 4 months for a fix that hasn't worked is unacceptable.
