I CBA
Can't believe I have to say this for a third time but...THE PERFORMANCE OF THE AI NEEDS A MASSIVE OVERHALL.
Why are Williams always in Q3? Why are Mercedes too slow? Why are Aston Martin and Cadillac making the top 10 on occasions? Why does the R&D graphic look correct but in game it blatently isn't?
All questions that won't be answered considering I was completly ignored last time I called them out with one of the worst responses i've come across.
This is beyond ridiculous at this point. Best F1 game in years completely ruined because of this laziness.

After updating the game to Version 1.25, I can no longer load my existing Driver Career Mode save on PS5.
Steps to reproduce:
- Go to Main Menu
- Select Driver Career
- Select 2026 Career
- Select Load Existing Save
- Choose my existing Driver Career save
The loading process begins normally, but after a short time an application error occurs and the game crashes completely. I am then returned to the PS5 home screen.
The affected Driver Career save was created before the Version 1.25 update and was saved during FP2.
Before the update, I was able to use this save normally. Since installing Version 1.25, however, I have been unable to load it at all.
At the moment, this means I cannot continue my existing Driver Career.
Given that the issue started immediately after the update, Version 1.25 appears to be the likely cause, although I cannot confirm this definitively.
Platform: PS5
Game Mode: Driver Career
Career Season: 2026
Save Point: During FP2
Save Created: Before Version 1.25

I am disappointed with this Sports Update.
The performance levels are nothing like reality, and above all, in previous years with older titles, Sports Updates always included updates to the car bodies. Instead, they have remained identical to how they were on Day 1 of the DLC.
You didn't even update the halo on the McLaren and Alpine, the Cadillac still has the asymmetrical livery despite them not using it for months, and Alpine and Aston Martin still have the old car body.
Basically, you just added a couple of sponsors and that’s it. Great job, congratulations

It’s great that there’s a BOOST (Wet – restricted) mode for rainy conditions.😁
All that’s missing now is having two separate (and separately mapped) modes: BOOST (available everywhere) and OVERTAKE (available when you’re less than a second behind someone, but only on a dry track). Then it would be truly realistic. The current simplified "2-in-1" solution is confusing and unrealistic.
It would be worth adding an indicator—either on the steering wheel display or via the RPM LEDs—to show when the full overtake mode is available (similar to how active aero systems like DRS/SM are indicated). Right now, we rely on the engineer’s voice—which is great—and the HUD.

I'm not entirely sold that turning off SM mode on less than 90% throttle is a good call gaming wise, with the way we currently handle the battery and its ramp down it means that on certain tracks (namely those with slower rampdowns) a single click of boost can take multiple laps to be recovered as lifting will now be much more costly.
Still it will be interesting to see how it changes things at high level it may work just fine in the end, could help reduce the advantage of second place as drivers are less likely to benefit from the increased recharge of OT. In which case I'll happily eat my words ^^
However this part :- Slight adjustment for Wheel users, ensuring a better match of control inputs to physics output during rapid input range changes.
Is way too vague, what does it mean exactly for wheel users ? It seems related to flicking (get rid of it asap please, tyres should get destroyed at every flick) ?

Still no fix for OSD Customisation saving properly on the 2026 DLC?
- TeeTohr4 days agoSeasoned Rookie
There's a workaround for that, you have to reset the element to default first (even if it's already in default position) and then move it / scale it.

Why was the Ferrari wing added but not the redbull one?
