Ranked multiplayer is such a joke. As long as it is possible to drive 0-0 wing settings when you put all assists on it will never be a decent ranking system, and I don't even wonna talk about dive bombing, unfair behaveour, false overtaking, ridiculous penalties (or not).... The right solution from EA and Codemasters would be to make it almost impossible to race on circuits with wing settings which in real F1 you could never keep the car on track. The easy way to do this is to take the assists out of the ranking and make it fair for everyone who realy wonna race.
Ranked multiplayer should be no assists full stop. You can't have a fair ranking system if some are assisted. There are social races if you want assists.
That is the only possible correct answer.
