How to navigate the menus

I am new to this game and I can;'t figure out how to just get into a simple race to see the cars, tracks and graphics.

Can someone help?

    At the main menu click on "F1 World" --> Play ---> scroll over to the "Grand Prix" and then you customize everything about a race: team, driver, length, track weather, AI level, etc.
