I do hope that they learned that two different dev teams no longer works out either. Especially with the known pattern that every even numbered year just doesn't know how to nail the handling, but the team that releases the odd number years has been doing a fantastic job. Not sure what's keeping them from sharing resources because it's the same company, so maybe this off-year will help them with that mismanagement as well.
That's a great point, having two separate teams for the F1 game just hasn't worked at all. F122 and F124 were a disaster. I'm still shocked to this day that F124 was even released in such a rubbish condition. It is by far the worst iteration of the game series they have ever made. There was not one single positive I can remember from the game.
The handling was utterly atrocious, the engine sounds were utterly atrocious and the AI were utterly atrocious.
I just hope for F127, they actually listen and get the core fundamentals of the game right with far less pointless gimmicks.
